Love of Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a soothing & calming meditative practice. A
passive one that releases deep in the joints and connective
tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the

body. The poses in yin are held for a longer period of
time, using our breath to guide us, allowing the body and
muscles to soften. It has many benefits, reducing tension,
stress and improves flexibility, joint mobility, and it helps
regulate the body's flow of energy, stimulating the
meridians (energy channels), and adding balance to the
organs in the body. Yin calms the mind & body and
la
can strengthen & prepares the client for
meditation. If you want to learn more about meditation

Love of Restorative Thai Yoga

Restorative Thai Yoga is a very gentle practice
with a different intention than just regular
Classic Yoga. Restorative yoga is a practice of
floor postures that are held for a longer period
of time. These poses are supported with props,
such as folded blankets, bolster, blocks in order
to gently open within the body. Some of the
many fantastic benefits, deeply relaxes the
body, stills a busy mind, resets the central
nervous system, and relieves muscular tension,
gently improving flexibility. Being supported
with props, it will allow the body to slowly open
to release stress and tension. In addition to this
practice, we will incorporate some Thai Yoga
Massage as you rest in your restorative pose with
light thumbing and palming along the
energy/Sen lines of the body thus, improving
flexibility, circulation & energy levels. This will
give you an overall feeling of letting go and a
grounding sensation. These wonderful sessions
will develop qualities of compassion and
understanding toward others and self.
